Perbedaan Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Lip Cream Asli dan Palsu

Tulisan ini didasari oleh rasa khawatir yang muncul setelah liat bibir adekku yang nakale puol itu tiba tiba agak jeding (semacam bengkak) dan kering kemerahan disekeliling atasnya setelah dia pake lipcream “Maybelline” Super Stay Matte Ink yang temennya kasih ke adekku. Kenapa kudu banget pake tanda kutip? Karena, setelah ku telit *cieileeh* ini produk agak aneh, kayak palsu gitu. “Whoa, whoa, kok bisa tau gitu?” “Ahh sotoy nih si Nadya.” Eitsss sebelum ngatain aku sotoy, cari sensasi, panjat sosial, pengen tenar ataupun viral *oposih*, nanti akan ku tulis satu persatu keanehan yang ku temuin biar kalian bisa lebih careful dalam membeli lipcream, khususnya si Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink ini.

Oiya, setelah aku curiga kalau ini produk palsu, aku langsung check video nya @cittaf di Instagram, karena dia pernah ngepost video perbandingan produk ini yang real vs fake, dan ternyata ciri-ciri produk palsu itu ada semua di lipcream yang dipake sama adekku. Seketika aku langsung larang dia pake produk itu dan ku ajak beli yang baru hari itu juga. Inilah beberapa perbedaan dari produk yang aku beli dan produk yang adekku dapetin dari temennya. Produk yang aku beli yang warna coklat tua yak, dan punya adekku yang merah (eiya gaksih merah? Ah sebut aja merah lah ya biar gampang.

Ukuran dan Bentuk Packaging

Dari segi ukuran, si lipcream coklat ukurannya lebih panjang dan lebih ramping dibandingin yang merah. Terus dari segi bentuk, si lipcream coklat ini nggak kotak siku-siku sempurna, agak melengkung gitu di bagian alasnya. Sedangkan si lipcream merah packagingnya bener-bener kotak. Sebagai tambahan, karena lipcream ini ngga ada boxnya, coba pas beli diliat tekstur packanging lipcreammya. Si lipcream coklat itu packangingnya gak halus, agak bertekstur kayak kertas paperbook. Sedangkan yang merah itu bener-bener halus gak ada teksturnya sama sekali.

Mon maaf itu yang merah tulisannya udah pada ngelopek jadi ngebandingin font nya.

Keterangan Produk pada Packaging

Produk yang warna coklat ini ada tulisan nomor BPOM, distributornya, dll yang tercetak langsung pada kemasan. Sedangkan yang merah bener-bener polos ngga ada keterangan apa-apa cuy. Hiyyyy.

Di kedua lipcream ini sama sama ada label putih yang ber-barcode gitu sih. Bedanya, di lipcream coklat ini ada tulisan ingredientsnya, sedangkan yang merah ngga ada tulisan apa-apa, only barcode dan tulisan maybelline blablabla seperti yang ada difoto di bawah ini. Aku gaktau sih apakah dulu di plastik pembungkus lipcream merah ini ada tulisan ingredientsnya atau engga, tapi yang jelas si lipcream coklat ingredientsnya nempel langsung dipackangin dalam. Gimana kalau ingredientsnya ternyata bahan-bahan aneh kek cat kayu/cat tembok gitu? T.T

Label Keterangan Shade Lipcream

Nah yang ini beda banget sih! Lipcream yang coklat ada keterangan nomor dan nama shadenya. Sedangkan lipcream merah cuma ada tulisan nomor doang tanpa nama shade. Apakah sampai sini kalian sudah percaya kalau ini produk aneh banget?

Oiya, disini kalian bisa liat perbedaan bentuk yang ku bahas diawal tadi. Yang coklat bentuknya nggak kotak, agak melengkung gitu. Sedangkan yang merah bener-bener kotak.

Harga

NAH INI NIH. Karna adekku cuma dikasih sama temennya, jadi akhirnya aku tanya ke temennya yang ngasih lipcream merah ini. Dan kalian tau berapa harganya? Rp 20.000. Yak betul, anda tidak salah baca, saya tidak typo. Lipcream keluaran “Maybelline” ini hanya dibandrol Rp. 20.000. Dan kalian tau berapa lipcream coklat yang saya beli ini? Rp. 115.000 untuk 1 buah lipcream. Perbedaan harga yang fantastis bukan? 1:5 bahkan masih sisa hahaha. Kebayang gaksih ini bahan apa aja yang dipakai? Aku yakin mereka sama sekali gamentingin keamanan produk. Diluar sana emang ada produk lokal dengan harga 20ribuan, tapi setidaknya kalau brand sendiri pasti bakal merhatiin keamanan, beda sama barang palsu yang produsennya bodoamat sama kualitas produknya, secara ini kan merk orang lain.

Sampe sini masa masih mau husnudzon sih sama produk ginian? Nih aku liatin kondisi bibir adekku, biar besok besok lebih berhati-hati dalam beli produk.

Adekku emang polos sih, temennya pun juga. Makanya mereka jadi sasaran empuk para oknum yang pengen dapet keuntungan dari cara yang nggak halal. Buat temen-temen yang punya adek/sodara yang baru coba-coba pake make-up, jangan lupa diawasi. Karena mereka yang baru coba-coba biasanya cenderung milih barang yang harganya murah karena alasannya masih belajar atau hanya untuk latian. Murah boleh, aku pun murah-murah barangnya. Tapi ya murahnya yang masih masuk akal lah, nggak gini juga atuh. Duh.

My Daily Makeup Routine

I don’t know how others perceive me, whether as someone who doesn’t care about her look or as someone who does, but in reality I actually love putting on makeup. It’s like a nice little ritual to start off my activity. And by makeup, it doesn’t always mean having a perfect face contouring, a perfect winged liner, a fleek eyebrows, or a blinding highlighter. Sometimes it’s just putting on a small amount of BB cream, a face powder, a nude lipstick and then call it a day. But even though I love putting on makeup, I don’t always wear it everyday. There are days where I don’t mind to go out with zero makeup on, despite the fact that I might look like a walking zombie and scare the little kid. So my daily makeups are basically what I wear when I want to look more presentable and feel more human.

My daily makeup routine basically takes me about ten minutes (or can be up to 30 minutes if I do it while singing the entire song from one album). This little routine is missing certain parts that are probably important for some people, but I’m way too stingy and lazy to incorporate all the products to achieve a flawless looking face. Hey, it’s just for daily look, not a party. 12-hour full coverage foundation? No thanks, I’m not gonna wear my makeup that long. Every day we’re introduced to new products, formulas, trends, and colors, but what I should pay attention more is on how good it is on my skin and how affordable it is because I’m gonna wear it quite often. If you’re expecting to see any high-end brand then you’re clearly looking in the wrong post and you’re very welcome to stop reading by now. So, this is my daily makeup routine along with the products that I use on a daily basis for a natural look.

I usually start out my morning with my morning skincare routine. I wrote about it here, you can check it out. Before putting on any makeup, I wait the skincare to absorb for about 5 minutes while I do other things like checking instagram, ironing my clothes, or simply thinking about how we’re all gonna die someday. But when I’m lazy I just cleanse my face with this Nivea Micellar Water or Sari Ayu Cleanser and then jump to the last step that is applying sunscreen. However you gotta make sure the canvas is clean enough before you start painting.

The first step in my daily makeup routine is applying BB cream or foundation. This what I mean when I said that my routine is missing certain important parts. Yup, I don’t use primer. I only wear makeup for 6 hours tops and I don’t mind if it comes off in the middle of the day so for now I don’t need it that much. I usually just go straight to Wardah Everyday BB cream in shade natural or Wardah Everyday Luminous Liquid Foundation in shade light beige. For under 50,000 IDR, these product evens out your skin tone perfectly, but when it comes to covering acne scars, you might still need concealer do to the task. I usually skip concealer as well because acne scars and redness are not my skin problem and I’m not a big fan of highlighting my face with it. To set the BB cream or foundation, I usually wear Marcks Beauty Powder in shade rose. It contains salicylic acid which is great for those who struggle with acne and breakouts. Don’t ask me about how good the oil control is because my skin is hella dry and only produces a small amount of oil on the T-zone area.

And now for the brows. I don’t follow any specific order when it comes to doing my eye brows. Sometimes I do it before applying face powder, sometimes I do it before applying BB cream/foudation. I’ve heard enough of man saying “I hate girls who draw their eyebrows” but that doesn’t stop me from doing my eyebrows. I’m not a fan of full, super thick eyebrows. I usually just use whatever eyebrows pencil that can make my existing brows more prominent while still looking completely natural. As long as it’s not too creamy then I can definitely use it. But for now i’m using Purbasari Daily Series Eyebrow Pencil in black.

I’m a newbie in this field. I don’t know really know how to contour and I don’t really care to figure it out. I just bought whatever product from whatever brand that I can afford, and I finally chose this Pixy Highlight & Shading. To be honest, the highlighter  is not so flattering, but I still use it to highlight my cheeckbone and brow bone. I highly recommed you to try another brand to achieve that glowing from within kinda look. But don’t worry, the shading is quite good to add more dimension to your face. Well this is the only contouring product I have ever used in my life I can’t say that it’s the best. On the inside of the package there’s an explanation on where to put which shade with direction, just in case contouring confuses you as much as it made me.

I usually apply blush on after countouring my face and before applying highligther. I wear this Red A Blush On Duo, which also doubles as eyeshadow. I got my hand on this product last year when I did my own makeup for graduation day. I needed a blush on to complete my look so I stole this from my mom (always too broke to purchase a new one). Like the contouring product, I can’t say much about this product other than that it is not too pigmented. I have to swipe and apply a few times to achieve the color intensity that I want. But the plus side is I don’t have to worry about picking up too much product on my brush. At first I didn’t like this orange color because I used to think that blush on was supposed to be pink and other colors are weird. That’s why I bought another blush on –that’s surprisingly VERY, VERY, cheap– that is Viva Fin Touch Blush On, but it turnt out that it’s too way pink, and too pigmented so I end up using it as eyeshadow (I don’t have any eyeshadow brush so I just apply it with my finger) along with the Red A Blush On Duo. But then I realized that I’m more into orange and peach color so yeah the Red A one became my main blush. It already hit pan! (but it’s been more than a year so i’m thinking of repurchasing another one).

You can never have too much lipstick. You should’ve heard that saying quite often. Now I have more than five lipstick but these four are pretty much what I put inside my makeup pouch. From left to right, it’s Wardah Exclusive Matte Lip Cream in shade saturday night (18), Pixy Lip Cream in shade sweet choco (10), Wardah Matte lipstick in shade velvety brown (14), and Purbasari Lipstick Color Matte in shade topaz (86). Recently I just realize that I’m more into orange-brown and terracota brown rather than mauve pink color. well, many beauty vloggers have raved about these products, the reviews and swatches are all over the internet so you can just google it up.

And that’s a wrap! No mascara, no fake lashes, no eye liner. Most of the products I mentioned above are under 50,000 IDR. Especially, it’s just for daily looks, not a makeup party. I usually add and change a few product when it comes to special occasion. And oh, I’m always excited to know what makeup products that other people wear, so, what’s your daily makeup routine?

My Current Skincare Routine

Finally I’ve come to the realization that I need to take care of my face that I can afford (which is sadly not so much). But with so many products on the market, how do I know which one is right for me? The choices are bewildering. Should I try that new product that my favorite beauty vloggers have been raving about recently? Is it worth the price? Or is there another option that I can choose, probably another brand with similar ingredients but not a little outside my budget? What’s this mysterious ingredients on this face mask? Bee venom? Snail mucus? Golden cocoon? Seaweed?

As a beginner, I was (still am) confused about which products that are best for me. I read reviews on Female Daily to beef up my knowledge of what I need to buy and to hear about other’s experiences with the products before actually buying it. But sometimes it left me more confused because what works for some people may not work for another. Well, skincare is never one-size-fits-all. It’s pretty much a game of trial and error, and the only way to find out what is right for your skin is simply to try them out one by one. Skincare routine is super personal.

After googling on the basic skincare routine plus trying out a few products, I finally settled with the products I currently use. I’ve never really had major issues with my skin so I keep my skincare routine pretty simple, a kind of affordable skincare for beginner, one fifth of the entire series of the infamous –god only knows how many steps– Korean skincare routine. Our skin condition is always changing so my routine will likely change over time, but for now this is pretty much what I feed my dry skin with.

Sariayu Kenanga Cleanser. I usually double cleanse my face at night because sleeping in your makeup is the ultimate skincare sin. This cleanser is a typical milk cleanser, formulated for normal skin and quite effective to remove the makeup and dirt off my skin. I usually repeat until I spend 2 or 3 cotton pads (depends on the amount of makeup I put on that day) to completely cleanse my eye area and the whole face. It smells nice actually, maybe a bit too strong if you’re sensitive to scent, but it’s nothing compared to the result it gives.

St. Ives Nourished and Smooth Oatmeal Scrub + Mask. I previously used the infamous St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub but after trying out this oatmeal variant a couple times, I think I prefer this one. This is a gentle scrub according to the exfoliation meter on the back of their products which tells how gentle, moderate, or deep a scrub the formula is.

This product has medium consistency, not thick or runny and has tiny brown exfoliating particles. It does the scrubbing job well by removing dead skin from the face without being too harsh on skin, leaving my skin feeling so smooth without drying it. Bonus point: it smells so good I want to eat it!! And it can be used as a mask too! This product came in full size (170 gr) and travel size (28 gr) and what I have here is the full size. They do say it can be used 3 to 4 times a week but I tend to use this product twice (or three times, tops) a week, normally before cleansing with face wash. But I’ve been seeing online that apparently you should cleanse first. Which do you do first? Please give this amateur an enlightenment.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash. A gentle, non-drying cleansing facial wash that leaves skin feeling clean, soft and refreshed is pretty much what I need when it comes to choosing a facial wash and this body shop product pretty much provides it all! How can I not fall in love with it? This facial wash is quite good to remove remaining traces of whatever left from the previous cleansing step. I’ve used this face wash for the past three months on a regular basis and I’m really happy about this.

Hada Labo Shirojyun Ultimate Whitening Face Wash. I was running out of The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash and decided to repurchase it. But when I was strolling around the mall, I saw this starter pack of Hada Labo Shirojyun and suddenly remembered all the reviews I’ve read regarding this product, so why don’t give it a try? Besides, it’s only 20 ml, probably only gonna last for two months, tops. I could easily get rid of it.

But so far it’s quite good, and by good I mean it’s not drying my already dry skin. It’s surely not as gentle as the body shop, and produces more foam as well. But it can be tricked by only using a very small amount of it. Bottom line, as long as it’s not drying then I definitely can continue to use it. If you have any recommendation of a gentle face wash please let me know. Thanks!

Hada Labo Shirojyun Ultimate Whitening Lotion. When I first tried this product, my first assumption was that this is supposed to be a toner, but the package doesn’t say so. But it turns out that most Japanese toners are translated as “lotion” (while in Korea we usually call it “skin”). Wow thanks to the internet for being super informative! And since this product was made in Japan, it’s pretty understandable that they call it lotion.

As far as I know, toning will make your skin better in absorbing whatever product you’re gonna use on the next step, and restore your skin’s pH. The texture of this lotion is not as watery as another toner that I ever used before, probably because of certain hydrating ingredients on it? I don’t know. It’s fragrance free and colorant free, and absorbs quickly with no sticky residue. I usually dispense three drops into the palm and gently pat into the face with hands like what’s written on the back of the product. It keeps my skin very well hydrated and smooth!

Hada Labo Shirojyun Ultimate Whitening Milk. Milk is actually a lighter lotion-type moisturizer, and this Hada Labo Shirojyun Ultimate Whitening Milk really does a good job when it comes to moisturizing my dry skin. I only need a small drop or two in the morning and at night after using the Hada Labo Shirojyun Ultimate Whitening Lotion. A small amount goes a long way!

I don’t know if you can see the label but it’s written that this product is fragant free and colorant free as well.  I’ve never really had any problems with products containing fragrance but I guess it’s supposed to be a bonus point of this product. Another thing that I notice after using this product couple times is that my face feels so smooth and it think it improved my skin condition as well. So far I haven’t seen any visible whitening effect, but yeah I’m not here for the whitening effect. I’m only interested with the hydrating effect.

Wardah Aloe Hydramild Moisturizer Cream. What? Another moisturizer? Yea.. But actually I had used this product long before I started to use Hada Labo Shirojyun series and I don’t want to remove it from my routine. This product is more viscous than Hada Labo so it became the second moisturizer. I stick to the rule that the heavier product should be applied after the lighter one so it can seal whatever product I previously applied on my skin and make them works more effectively. The aloe vera extract and olive oil on this product are believed to shooth the skin and keep it well hydrated. Very much what my skin needs!

Emina Sun Protection SPF 30 PA+++. Sun screen is a very important essential to be included in daily skincare routine. Even though sometimes your BB cream or foundation contains SPF, you still need to apply sun screen beforehand. I know how hard it is to find a sun screen that’s suitable for your skin. Oftentimes it’s either too thick, too oily, or leave a white cast. So, when I first tried this product, I was pretty happy that it goes on really smoothly, absorbs really quickly into my skin, no sticky feeling, very light weight with a SPF 30 PA+++ and there’s no white cast left behind! What’s not to love? Even though I’m not done yet with my quest to find a good sun screen with higher SPF that is also affordable, so far I’m quite happy that I stumbled across a budget product that works every bit as well –if not better– than its more expensive competitors.
